It seems like taking selfies wasn’t enough. The latest invention for selfie lovers is the Belfie Stick – a selfie stick to shoot your ‘rear side’. In the past, we have seen users adopting to the selfie stick which turned out to be quite popular and successful.
The Belfie Stick has been created by the selfie experts at ON.com, a photo-based social networking site. “We’ve noticed a huge spike in users taking butt selfies in recent months so the natural next step was for us to develop a device to assist our users in taking one,” the site’s chief technology officer Kevin Deegan told Business Insider.
Belfie – a term coined by Kim Kardashian, is also used by other celebrities such as Miley Cyrus, Rihanna and Nicki Minaj.
The Belfie Stick is bendable which makes the process comfortable. The titanium steel stick can be bent and angled according to your preference.
The report also stated that, before creating the product, On.com polled over 10,000 selfie experts. They found that many users wanted to highlight their assets from behind, but had difficulty maneuvering this type of shot with a traditional selfie stick. They created the product to meet this demand.
