- After migration of any office to Finacle all the account numbers will be changed.
- Account numbers will be of 10 digits and for every account there will be CIF(Customer Information File) which is unique number for any customer which is of 9 digits.
- For finding the new account by using the old account number we need to use the menu CNAC
CNAC means Format Account Maintenance
- This menu is used to find the new account number by using the old account number the format generally we use in DOP Finacle is as follows SOLID+Scheme code+Old account number as mentioned below
- SOLID means generally office code(postal code suffixed with 00 or 01 or 02 depends on the office i.e., whether it is HO or Delivery So or Non delivery SO) Ex:-50000300
- Scheme Code(In DOP we have scheme codes as SB,RD,TD,MIS,SCS,KVP,NSC and NSS)
- Old account number which is Sanchay post account number.(When anyone try to view the certificate new number we have to enter certificate number but if the certificate is prefixed with '0(zero)' then we have to truncate the zero).
For example if we want to know NSC certificate 05ee056789 account number then the format will be as shown 50000300NSC05ee56789 then the system will give new account number.
