A proposal for making
Rules under RTI i.e. RTI Rules, 2017 in supersession of RTI Rules, 2012-by the
Central Government under section 27 of the RTI Act, 2005, is under consideration
of the Department of Personnel & Training.
It has been decided to
invite views / suggestions of the concerned stakeholders on the draft RTI
Rules, 2017. The views / suggestions may be sent latest by 15 thApril, 2017
through e-mail only to Ms. Preeti Khanna, Under Secretary (RTI), North Block at
email ID usrti-doptnic.in.
