AHMEDABAD: Indian Railways will also be a part of the 7th Gujarat Global Trade Show - 2015 to be held at the at helipad ground area in Gandhinagar. The show is part of Pravasi Bharatiya Divas and Vibrant Gujarat Investors Summit to be held between January 7 and January 13.
Railways has decided to have give its stall the mixed look of a railway tunnel and a railway coach and is spread over 510 square metres.
On display at the Railway stall will be a steam engine and toy train model of the first train trial run between Ahmedabad and Grant Road approximately 150 years ago, in 1864.
Beside this, the stall has things like the chains used in daily operations, tea coasters and mementos made by Western Railway and items from the National Rail Museum. One part of the Indian Railways stall consists of a pictorial representation of important railway projects by Rail Vikas Nigam Limited.
