Age eligibility- Clarification for Sukanya Samriddhi account opening under Small Savings Schemes.

It is clarified that upto 02.12.2015, account can be opened in the name of Girl child who is born on or after 02.12.2003. Thereafter, account can be opened only if the Girl child has not completed 10 years age on the day of opening account.
