Postmen are the actual PROs of India Post and they are acting as nerves in the
Postal System. By understanding these facts various Postal circles have
started new initiatives to share the details of Postmen.
‘Know your postman’ is an initiative from
Kerala Postal circle for sharing the details of Postmen. For this purpose
they have started a new portal under keralapost.in domain. The portal can
be accessed through following url

Postman search can be made in two ways on this
portal one is on the basis of location and other is on Post Office wise.
The name and picture of Postman along with personal contact number and office
contact number can be seen in this portal. The delivery area, beat number
and tentative timings of arrival of Postman are also included in this search
result.
Now, only details of Postmen under
Thiruvananthapuram South division, Thiruvananthapuram north division and RMS TV
division are available in this portal.
Such an attempt was first introduced in
Chennai City region of Tamil Nadu circle in order to share the details of
Postmen in Head Post Offices under this region.
